​Between ancient walls, mountains and the unique atmosphere of Castello di Mesocco, we want to create something that deliberately feels different from a classic festival. No huge festival. No public headliner race. No event that is sold only through names.

Instead, we want to return to something that has always been important to us in Psytrance:

The Flying Mystic has been part of the Swiss Psytrance scene since 2016. Over the years, club nights, PsyLake and the PsyRiver Festivals have all become different chapters of the same journey. We have always tried to evolve, reinvent ourselves and explore new concepts.

With SECRET CASTLE, we are taking another step forward.

For this event, the names on the flyer are not the main focus. The complete line-up will not be publicly announced before the event.

You are not buying your ticket for one specific artist. You are choosing the experience. We want you to trust us to select the music that fits this extraordinary location and this particular moment. For us, musical quality and a carefully curated flow are more important than quantity. The same applies to the infrastructure, sound quality and overall atmosphere. Maybe you will know some of the artists. Maybe you will discover others for the very first time. The castle keeps its secrets until you arrive. And that is part of the journey.

555 people. no more

SECRET CASTLE is intentionally limited to only 555 tickets. Not because the location could not hold more people. Because we do not want it to be bigger. We want enough space to dance, connect, explore and breathe. The castle should not become the backdrop of an overcrowded festival. It should remain an essential part of the experience.

from daylight into the night (psytrance & forest)

On Saturday at 14:00, the SECRET CASTLE journey begins. From 14:00 until 02:00, Psytrance will guide us through the afternoon, sunset and deep into the night. The musical journey should be allowed to develop naturally. Not simply artist after artist, but as one continuous flow that changes together with the atmosphere of the castle. At 02:00, the dancefloor will pause. But the castle will not go to sleep.

From 02:00 until 10:00, we enter a deliberate resting phase. Ambient music will play quietly in the background while you are welcome to remain inside the designated castle area, spend time with friends, slow down and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the night. No dancefloor. No pressure. Just space. A night between two musical worlds.
 

sunday morning - we rise again (progressive trance)

On Sunday at 10:00, the dancefloor comes back to life. From the stillness of the night, movement slowly returns. From 10:00 until 18:00, the castle belongs to Progressive Psytrance. Melodic. Driving. Sunny. Emotional. Sunday should not feel like the end of a long party night. It should feel like a second, independent chapter of the journey. Until we close SECRET CASTLE together at 18:00.

more than a dancefloor

This time, we do not want to explain everything in advance. Surprise is an important part of this concept. Throughout the event, things will happen beyond the dancefloor that will not necessarily appear on a timetable. Performances. Atmospheric moments. Art. Movement. Light. Encounters. Some things you may discover intentionally. Others may simply find you. We do not want to decorate a castle, place a dancefloor inside it and call it a festival. The entire location should become part of the story. Music, architecture, light, people and unexpected moments should merge into one complete experience.
 

camping & tent zone "soazza"

For guests who want to spend the whole journey with us, a separate Camping & Tent Zone in Soazza will be available. This allows us to deliberately separate the high-energy event location from your resting and sleeping area. Detailed information about camping, arrival, shuttle, check-in and infrastructure will be communicated separately before the event.

Maybe this is the most important part of SECRET CASTLE. 
SECRET CASTLE is an experiment. We could put a big line-up on a flyer. We could promote well-known names. We could do exactly what people expect from a Psytrance event. But we want to try something different. We want to find out whether we can create an event together where the first question is not: “Who is playing?” but instead: “What will I experience?” The Flying Mystic has always continued to evolve. Now we want to take the next step. Smaller. More personal. More mysterious.
